Unboxing a Box

Ooops, I did it again. I've bought a new tree online but just like with the maple two years ago this was an offer too good to turn down. Shipping took a week and it arrived today in good condition. It's a Buxus Harlandii and the plan is to grow it a bit taller into an oak-y shape. Must find a better pot too.

  1. Lovely box! Excellent choice. I especially like the first picture. Image of an old tree is there already. I would not let it grow taller. Good heading too!

  2. Thanks! Don't worry, it's just going to be about 10% taller and with a more dome-shaped silhouette it will not appear taller, just more powerfull.

    1. Sure, this Box I got from Kaizen Bonsai. Previously I've bought a tree from Wattston Bonsai. I can reccomend both. There are many more online shops but these are the only ones I've tried.

Thank you very much for the reply. If you happen to have some indoor suitable Bonsai that you look for someone to adopt them please let me know so we could exchange emails about them.

    1. Thanks for the offer but I don't work with indoor suitable trees, they're just too much work and very slow to develop. I have some ficus inside but I woldn't call them bonsai. Maybe in 50 years ;-)
